Hey everyone! I’m Evan Post, a fifth-year Accounting major born and raised here in Calgary, and I’m excited to be your BASS President this year. BASS has given me so many great opportunities throughout my time at university, and I’m looking forward to giving back and helping make this year the best yet.

When I’m not buried in spreadsheets or textbooks, you can usually find me making house music or DJing at parties - two passions I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I’m ready to bring my energy, ideas, and dedication to the club this year.

Hi! My name is Anisha, and I’m a 4th-year Accounting student with a minor in Finance. I joined BASS to help spark interest in the CPA designation and create opportunities for students to grow their networks.

What I love most about BASS is how it brings people together; through events, workshops, and conversations to make career growth feel exciting and accessible. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, getting lost in a good book, and finding new food spots. I’m so excited to be VP of BASS this year and can’t wait to connect with you all!

As an Accounting student entering my third year at Mount Royal University, I’m committed to growing both academically and professionally as I work toward my CPA designation. I’m looking forward to pursuing an internship in 2026 that will allow me to apply my classroom knowledge in a real-world setting and gain hands-on experience in the field of audit. 

Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active whether that’s hitting the gym, hiking scenic trails, or going rafting with friends. I also love winding down with a good book and making time for activities that keep me balanced and energized.

Hey y’all! I’m Leila, a fifth-year accounting and finance student, from a small town in Alberta. I am excited to be taking on the role of the administrative secretary for BASS. I am proud to call myself a member of BASS as it has helped me gain knowledge, insight and access to industry professionals. 

When I’m not chained to a desk I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, hitting the slopes and running. I like to relax by reading, going for walks along the Bow River and attending hot yoga classes.

Hey! I’m Tanya, an accounting student entering my third year. I enjoy organizing events, participating in case competitions, and creating opportunities for students to connect and get involved. Whether it’s planning fun experiences or managing the little details, I’m always excited to contribute.

Hi, I’m Garrett, a 4th-year Marketing major with a passion for strategic communication and creative outreach. I’m currently working as a Project Management Intern, where I’m developing skills in leadership, organization, and teamwork. 

Outside of academics and work, I enjoy weightlifting, running, reading, playing guitar, and taking part in all kinds of social events. 

I am looking forward to bringing fresh ideas, energy, and a strong sense of initiative to BASS this year.

Hi! My name is Ria, and I am a fourth year double major Accounting + General Management, and double minor Finance/Economics + Marketing student. I am working towards my growth academically and professionally to pursue a CPA designation in the future. BASS has helped me grow in confidence and create meaningful connections with wonderful industry professionals and peers.

I am very excited to contribute my experience in this role and help our members gain even more from what BASS has to offer - while having fun along the way!

Outside of school, I love to travel, catch a good movie, explore new music, and spend quality time with my family and my 10-year-old dog, Buddy!

Hi everyone! My name is Nimrat Toor, and I am a fourth year BBA student majoring in Accounting with a minor in CIS. After graduation my goal is to obtain my CPA designation.

I am excited to serve as the CPA Relations Director for BASS this year. BASS events have played a huge role in my university experience, helping me grow and connect with professionals. I joined BASS to help ensure other students have the same opportunities to learn, network, and feel supported.

In my free time, you’ll find me exploring new restaurants, traveling, or getting lost in a good book. I’m looking forward to meeting and connecting with all of you!

Hello, my name is Dylan. I’m a 4th year student, majoring in accounting and finance with intent to pursue my CPA designation post-graduation. I am proud to contribute to BASS as an Executive Assistant and embrace all that BASS has to offer for MRU students.

Outside of school, I am very passionate about fitness and golfing. I look forward to adding value to the club in all avenues.

Hi! My name is Chloey and I’m a third year accounting student at Mount Royal University. Joining BASS has completely changed how I see the accounting field. Through meeting professionals in the industry and other students who are on the same journey, I’ve gone from being unsure about my future to confidently working toward both a CPA and a Master’s in Accounting. As this year’s Student Relations Director, I’m excited to help more students discover all the incredible opportunities and events BASS has to offer. 

Outside of school, you’ll usually find me exploring new cafes and restaurants or capturing little moments on my digital camera.

Hello! My name is Ronil and I am a fourth year accounting student. My aim is to pursue the CPA designation after graduation.

As someone who transferred to MRU in their third year, I’ve personally experienced the positive impact BASS can have on a student’s career trajectory post-graduation through building meaningful connections with industry professionals. Now, my goal is to help grow BASS so other students can access the same opportunities I was afforded.

Hello my name is Zohrez, a fourth year Accounting Major, and I am very much looking forward to working as an Executive Member for BASS MRU. I am working towards finishing my degree as of right now and have intentions to pursue my CPA designation in the future.

Outside of school I like to spend my time going to the gym and training to continuously develop my physical capabilities, and I enjoy skiing both cross country and downhill once winter comes around. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to be with the BASS team this year and hope I can contribute meaningfully to the team for the semesters ahead.

I’m an accounting major in my final year of studies at MRU. Being a part of BASS has provided me with so many great opportunities to grow my network and improve my soft skills.

Outside of school and BASS I spend majority of my time going to the gym, training for triathlons and spending time with friends and family.
